I watched a very interesting video, after getting through the humor of the video, it got me thinking about promise rings and what both men and women think about them. Personally, I have very mixed feelings about promise rings. After some research online, I found out that promise rings or pre-engagement rings, are given as a pledge of commitment in a monogamous relationship. So why do some men give women promise rings 2, 3, 4....years after the onset of a relationship.., at that point I am thinking an engagement ring is more appropriate.

"What's LoVe Got To Do With It...."
Valentine's day is around the corner, and I can't avoid the topic of love and relationships....either those trying to get out of it because they are trying to escape the gift giving ritual or those that are trying to get into it because- God forbid they don't receive the love and attention they so desire on this 'special' day.
I decided to start off my blog talking about love, what it means to different people...and ask so many questions to my readers on what they feel love is, what love means to them, how they feel love should be expressed, and why it's hard to find love, ......
Before I share my thoughts on the topic and answer any questions you may have, I'll like to hear your thoughts on it.....
